What we do
We take a read-only copy and measure it. Duplicates by exact email, by normalised phone number, and by fuzzy matching on name, employer and postcode. What proportion of records have their structured fields actually populated. How much of the database has had no contact in one, two or three years. Whether the contact details still work, on a 500-record sample; validity checks only, we do not contact anybody. Then we re-run twenty searches your team actually did, and count how many return something usable.
